Invasive nuisance? Sheesh! Not only is it one of the only soft things in the desert (t.p.) but it's got great medicinal qualities. Did you know that you could roll up one of the leaves & "smoke" it to help open your air passages if you're having trouble breathing...like from an allergic reaction to something? It's great! Then again, most plants the general population call "weeds" are actually highly nutritious and/or medicinal.

I googled mullein. It looks like it's an Asian plant that's an invasive nuisance in the Southwest United States. I still like it, though.
